VisionTek Killer HD 5770 with Bigfoot NIC

A real gamer would probably want the best network connection possible during those multi-player sessions, but having another network card would mean taking up a PCIe slot of some sort. What if it’s already being occupied by a sound card? Well there’s a product out now that’s co-developed between Bigfoot Networks and VisionTek, and it’s essentially a HD 5770 that only takes up a single PCIe x16 slot. You get a graphics and network card all in one neat package, however we are a little concerned of the graphics solution choice the two companies decided on as they could have settled on the newer HD 6800 series cards instead.

“VisionTek has been a strategic partner for nearly 10 years and brings extremely innovative AMD design concepts to the North American market,” said Matt Skynner, corporate vice president and general manager of AMD’s GPU Division. “We rely on our leading partners to expand on our technology reach. VisionTek once again delivers on that directive with its new Killer™ HD 5770 launch.”
